The Beer Café launches 2 Belgium Beer Brands in India

The Beer Café brought two well-known Belgian breweries to India to launch 4 Belgian beers – Delirium beers from the Flemisch Brewery L. Huyghe and  Chimay beers from the Walloon Trappist brewery Bières de Chimay – into the Indian market. Hema Connoisseur Collections Ltd, will be supplying these beers all over India. Admonitum BVBA is the brand ambassador promoting the Belgian Beer culture in India.

The Launch was held at The Beer Café “Biggie” at CP on 7th November in the presence of Alain De Laet Owner and CEO of Brewery L. Huyghe and Edwin De Doncker, managing director of Bières de Chimay along with Rahul Singh, Founder & CEO, The Beer Café.

Speaking on the launch, . Rahul Singh, said “Chimay is one of the most prestigious Trappist beers in the world. At Beer Café, these are the most premium beers on the menu. We have already witnessed a sense of exuberance among beer aficionados”

Brewery L. Huyghe

It an independent family owned craft brewery since 1654. 75% of the yearly production of 190.000HL is exported to more than 95 countries all over the world. Huyghe is worldwide known for his Pink elephant, the symbol of his Delirium beers, behind the pink elephant they produce a wide range of specialty beers as La Guillotine and Abbey of Averbode or Mongozo gluten free beers. Huyghe is also known for his delirium café of Brussels that carries more than 3000 beers and franchised worldwide.

Brewery L. Huyghe recently introduced Delirium Tremens, 8% Strong Blond Ale and Delirium Nocturnum, 8% Strong Dark Ale to the Indian market.

Bières de Chimay

In 1862, the monks of Chimay began to brew their first beer according to the monastic traditions of natural brewing and top fermentation followed by refermentation in the bottle. Later on, they started to produce another fermented product, the cheese of Chimay was born in 1876. Today two of these beers of international renown are arriving on the Indian Market- The Chimay Red (The Premiere) a coppery color and sweet, fruity taste make it a particularly tasty dark beer & Chimay Gold, is a refreshing light beer with aromas of hops and spices.
