RSGSM Plants Engaged in Producing Sanitisers

The distillery and liquor division of the Rajasthan State Ganganagar Sugar Mills (RSGSM) that used to be engaged in production of country liquor in normal times is now producing sanitisers as part of the government’s endeavours to stop the spread of Coronavirus. From 25th March, five out of its 19 plants began producing sanitisers.

These plants produced about 1.4 million bottles of sanitisers till 31st March, which were supplied free of cost to government departments. Santisers are being produced in plastic bottles of 180ml each.

According to RSGSM’s GM, Kesar Lal Meena, from 1st April, their sanitisers will also be available to 40 depots of Rajasthan State Beverages Corporation Limited for Rs 37.50 per bottle.
