A limited edition of the Royal Salute Platinum Jubilee Scotch whisky with 147 bottles has been released to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The Jubilee Edition is inspired by seven of the Queen’s ‘iconic’ brooches from her personal collection. The Scotch whisky is bottled at 50.8 percent ABV. It is a blended Scotch whisky that includes whiskies from a number of closed 'silent' distilleries. It was the product of getting finished in Tawny Port casks for two years, as a tribute to the wine served on the coronation day of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953.
Pernod Ricard owned The Royal Salute Platinum Jubilee Edition is available for purchase with selected specialist retailers for US$20,000.
