THE GROVER ZAMPA VINEYARDS 22nd INTER-CLUB GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP 2018
Grover Zampa Vineyards, the pioneer and longest-standing wine producers in India, recently concluded the 22nd edition of their much acclaimed Inter-Club Golf Championship. The tournament that took place on 17th and 18th February 2018 culminated in an after party at Darios Trattoria, Poona Club. The evening soirée witnessed the felicitation of the victorious team, Bombay Presidency Golf Club, by Mr. Kapil Grover, Chairman, Grover Zampa Vineyards. It was a fun-filled celebration with a delectable spread prepared by the talented chefs at Darios Trattoria along with the award-winning wines from Grover Zampa’s stable.

A round-robin Ryder Cup matchplay format (on the lines of the mega golf duel between the US and Europe every two years) which involves a great deal of strategizing and team play intensifies the competition to exciting, nervous limits. Each team is represented by 24 players, out of which 21 play each day. From each club, three players play the singles, three pairs comprise the foursomes and six pairs compete in the four ball match-ups.
The grand prize giving ceremony was attended by socialites such as Masume AliKhan Anees, Manisha & Manish Jaitha, Dr Sattyajeet Naik, Dr Bhagwant Singh Ratta, Minoti Makim & Riaz Lawyer, Chahat Dalal, Rashmi Dalal, Vinod Makhija, Diva & Naresh Budhrani and well-known personalities from the golfing fraternity.
