AHP Hospitality Challenge & Awards-2023 commences

The much awaited sixth edition of the AHP Hospitality Challenge and Awards -2023 has officially begun. This event provides a platform for supporting and honouring young people in the hospitality industry while showing their extraordinary talent and originality.

The Association of Hospitality Professionals (AHP) is a non-profit registered organisation dedicated to encouraging excellence in the hospitality industry.

At the event, over 350 industry experts from the hotel industry are participating in 17 different categories, which will run until 8th July. Notably, 25 specially-abled professionals are competing for the first time at this event, marking an important milestone for hospitality contests and demonstrating the competition's dedication to diversity.

A number of competitions were held prior to the launch of the AHP Hospitality Challenge 2023 in order to gauge competitors' knowledge and proficiency in various hotel operational areas. At the competition's first day, held at The Park in New Delhi, approximately 40 experts displayed their skills in the categories of The Art of Bed Making and Towel Art. The Chief Jury for the housekeeping contests, Vanita Arora, expressed her admiration for the exceptional performances and exhibits.

Following the housekeeping events, the culinary competitions were held, where more than 150 cooks displayed their culinary prowess in 11 categories.

The next four competitions, which include the Art of Napkin Folding, Art of Table Setting, and War of Spirits event, will be held at the Front Office Master Indian Hotel Academy in Subhash Nagar, New Delhi-18, and at Radisson Paschim Vihar in New Delhi.
