The UP government extends timing of liquor shops

Now the liquor shops in Uttar Pradesh are to remain open from 10 am till 9 pm. Only liquor shops located outside containment zones or Coronavirus hotspots will be permitted to open in the state.

Earlier, the UP government had allowed retail liquor shops to remain open only from 10 am to 7 pm in the state. The extension of hours is certainly expected to give an impetus to the sales of the alcoholic beverage in the state.
