Milestone Beverages introduces Onikishi Japanese whisky

Hong Kong based Wine & Spirits importer Milestone Beverages has launched Onikishi, a premium Japanese blended whisky, to Hong Kong and China, which will soon roll out to the Australian and European markets.

Onikishi whisky is made in Taka-cho, Hyogo prefecture, a town framed by mountains with a mild climate.   Onikishi distilled with pure waters and aged in white oak barrels and it delivers a well-balanced body and oriental accents. On the palate, it offers an immediate rush of honey and vanilla, which develops into flavours of caramel and cedar smoke. The finish features notes of wood and yuzu zest. It has woody aromas followed by notes of honey and subtle floral heather.

Onikishi  whisky is bottled at 43 percent ABV and priced at US$64.
