Another arrest by ED in alleged Delhi liquor scam

Amit Arora, the Director of Gurugram-based Buddy Retail Pvt. Ltd. who is stated by CBI to be a close associate of Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia, has been arrested under the criminal sections of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), in Delhi’s liquor policy case. With this arrest, ED has made six arrests in connection with the alleged Delhi liquor policy scam.

Till now ED has undertaken 169 search operations in the case, which were filed after taking cognisance of a CBI FIR, which was registered on the recommendation of the Delhi's Lieutenant Governor.
