New liquor policy of Delhi may have reduced drinking age

A new liquor policy is being envisaged by the Delhi government which could reduce the legal age for alcoholic beverage consumption from 25 to 21 in the national capital. It is also expected that the new liquor policy would permit private and government-run liquor vends and expect the deadline for serving alcoholic beverages in Delhi from 1 am to 3 am. Home delivery of liquor may also become a reality in the new liquor policy of Delhi. The new liquor policy is expected to be introduced after 31st March.
