Pernod signs sustainability loan

New Update
Pernod sales in India grew significantly in Q3

Pernod Ricard has obtained a US$2.6 billion loan for reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and water use.

It is the first loan of this kind that the owner of Absolut has obtained and will be used to refinance a current facility with a June 2024 expiration date. Additionally, the loan will focus on two environmental commitments: lowering water usage per unit generated and lowering absolute greenhouse gas emissions on operated locations.

Developing terroir, valuing people, circular manufacturing, and responsible hosting are the four main focuses of the roadmap, each one making an effort to deal with problems like waste, human rights, and climate change.

22 banks have agreed to the loan, whose last payment date is April 2028.
