Altamura Vodka to land in the UK

Altamura Distilleries, an Italian producer, has planned to launch its namesake vodka in the UK for the first time.

Beginning on 1st June, Altamura Vodka will be available in the UK through distributor Boutinot UK. The vodka is marketed as the first alcoholic beverage made entirely from ancient Altamura grains.

The ABV of the Italian vodka is 43 percent and each 700ml bottle of the product costs 42USD in retail.

For more than 2,000 years, Altamura or the neighbouring Puglian communes in Italy have farmed the wheat necessary to make this vodka.
