Jawan's production expected to double

Kerala’s excise department has given approval to two newly constructed blending lines at Travancore Sugars and Chemicals in Thiruvalla. This indicates that in the upcoming days, the output of the popular liquor brand Jawan will double. The blending work on these blending lines will start on 12th June 2023.

Despite this, approval from the government is still required in order to purchase extra spirit for the blending procedure. According to sources, the authorisation will soon be granted, and starting then, jawan spirits are to be manufactured daily not just in 8000 cases but in 15,000 cases.

In comparison to the four existing lines, the two additional blending lines added have a higher technical efficiency. The Kerala government has authorised the purchasing of 20 lakh litres of spirit on a monthly basis for the blending process. 170000 cases of jawan are already produced per month.
