No takers for license to serve liquor at Gurgaon offices

There has been no response so far to a new alcohol policy of Haryana, which permits business workplaces in Gurgaon to provide low-alcoholic drinks at their cafeteria.

Since the L-10F licence was introduced on 1st June, none of the companies in Gurgaon has stepped forward to apply or even inquire about it.

Even while the satellite city is home to hundreds of international corporations and startups, with over 300 of them being Fortune 500 organisations, only a small number of them meet the strict criteria for applying for the licence, according to the officials.
