TN favours lower excise revenue

S Muthusamy, the minister for Prohibition and Excise of Tamil Nadu, has stated that the state government had no plans to increase revenue by selling alcohol and that it would be favourable if Tasmac revenue decreased, which would imply a decrease in drinkers.

The state government has already issued a statement regarding reducing the number of Tasmac liquor shops and 500 shops are going to close around the state.
