New COO for Sula Vineyards

Karan Vasani has been promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer at Sula Vineyards Limited. He is serving the company as the Chief Winemaker and Vice President. Karan will replace Chaitanya Rathi and will take charge as COO from 1st October 2023.

Karan has been an important member of Sula Vineyards’ leadership team. Since 1st October 2013, he has been working with Sula in a number of positions.

He graduated from the University of Mumbai with a bachelor's in commerce, and from Lincoln University in New Zealand in viticulture and oenology. Wine & Spirit Education Trust presented him with the WSET Level 2 Intermediate Certificate and Level 3 Advance Certificate in wines and spirits.

He has previously held several positions in Crisil Limited and with Cuvaison Estate Wines.
