Liquor prices show sharp rise in Tamil Nadu

Tasmac has increased the MRP of imported foreign liquors and varieties of liquor coming from other states.

According to the updated MRP list for liquor in Tamil Nadu, beer varieties in the above-mentioned categories cost an extra Rs. 10 for 330 ml tins and Rs. 20 extra for 500 ml tins. Vodka, whisky, gin, and rum varieties in the above-mentioned categories, however, have experienced significant price increases, with a rise of Rs 240 for 700 and 750 ml bottles and a startling Rs 320 increase for one-litre bottles.

According to sources, 18 liquor varieties have got their price increases by up to Rs 320 in Tamil Nadu.
