Allotment of liquor outlets in Telangana to have more transparency

For receiving applications for allotment of liquor outlets in any district across the state of Telangana, the government of Telangana has decided to establish an exclusive cell in the office of the Prohibition and Excise Commissioner.

This exclusive cell will be in addition to the district collectorates where applications for the liquor outlets are being received in the state. The move is made with the objective to avoid the possibility for formation of syndicates.

During the submission of applications of liquor outlets in Telangana continuous vigil will be administered to prevent the formation of syndicates and steps will be taken to ensure that the aspirants face no obstruction in submission of their applications.
