Bacardi's latest expression

Bacardí has announced the release of an expression named Reserva Ocho Sevillian Orange Cask Finish, which is part of its limited edition cask finish series.

The Reserva Ocho Sevillian Orange Cask Finish is the third edition of the series, released annually around the end of National Rum Month, in August. This new release joins last year’s release, Reserva Ocho Rye Cask Finish and 2021’s Reserva Ocho Sherry Cask Finish.

This is a blended rum; the product of being aged for at least eight years in American oak barrels before being finished for a further 3-6 months in Vino de Naranja casks from Seville, Spain. The liquid carries notes of orange peel and dried stone fruits with a smoky wood aroma.

It is bottled at 45 percent ABV and will be available at a suggested retail price of $34.99.
