MP plans to introduce course in liquor manufacturing

Following its commendable decision to market mahua liquor made by indigenous tribes as heritage liquor, the Madhya Pradesh government is envisaging to come up with a dedicated course in liquor manufacturing.

The excise department of Madhya Pradesh has asked the technical education department of the state to design the course. There are plans to introduce the course in the coming months. The course's structure, fees, theoretical and practical learning modules of the course are being worked out.

The course, which would be of few weeks duration, would be made available through skill development institutes.
