Retailing IMFL and FL by shop to the APSBCL continues

The government of Andhra Pradesh has formulated the excise policy for the year 2023-24 in respect to retail liquor shops in the state and is continuing the exclusive privilege of retailing IMFL and FL by shop to the APSBCL for a period of one year, from 1st October 2023 to 30th September 2024.

A total of 2934 shops will be covered by this initiative.

The Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise has also requested to complete the process of renewal immediately in a transparent manner after receipt of the application from the house owners along with connected documents from the licensees, without any delay. The Commissioner also requested to enforce the operational guidelines while renewing the existing retail liquor outlets in the state.

All the depot managers are directed to remit the license fee of Rs. 1000 to each retail liquor outlet separately.
