New MD and Chief Executive for ABD

Alok Gupta has been appointed as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive of Allied Blenders & Distillers. Prior to this appointment, he was with Essar Capital, where he was a partner, leading its technology and services vertical. In his three-decade old illustrious professional journey, he has worked with brands like Dabur, United Spirits and Café Coffee Day.

Here it deserves a mention that Allied Blenders & Distillers is planning to go public with a Rs.2000 crore issue.
