Impressive growth in excise revenue collection in Odisha

Odisha’s excise revenue collection has gone high by 367 percent during the last 10 years, from Rs. 1,379.91 crore in 2012 to Rs. 6,455 crore in 2022-23.

The target of this fiscal for Odisha is to collect Rs 7,800 crore as excise revenue out of which Rs 2,654.69 crore has been collected already by the end of August this year, the Minister informed.
