Kerala revises foreign made liquor price

Kerala has revised the prices for foreign made foreign liquor, which has gone into effect along with higher warehouse and retail margins. Bevco will gain an additional Rs. 15 crores in revenue per annum from this move.

The margin for the warehouse in Kerala was raised from 5 percent to 14 percent, and the margin for the liquor shops from 3 percent to 6 percent. Liquor made abroad saw an increase in warehouse margin from 2.5 percent to 9 percent, while retail margin stayed at 5 percent.

Less than One percent of Bevco's total spirits sales are made up of imported brands . Through this, Rs. 150 crore were received in the fiscal year 2022–2023 which will be increased to Rs. 165 crores this year.
