Campaign to prevent liquor smuggling in Gautam Buddha Nagar

The excise department of Gautam Budh Nagar has introduced a special enforcement drive to tackle the smuggling of liquor into the district during the festive season. The drive will continue till 25th October.

Seven joint teams have been constituted comprising officials from the excise department, local administration, and local police to carry out this operation to combat smuggling of liquor into the district. The excise department of Gautam Budh Nagar will also collaborate with the GST department and the regional transport department in this drive against liquor smugglers.

If evidence is found linking the liquor mafia to the smuggling activities action will be taken under the Gangster Act.
