CID files case against former CM Naidu over alleged liquor scam

Andhra Pradesh's Crime Investigation Department (CID) has filed a fresh case against former Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP)’s Chief, Chandrababu Naidu based on allegations of granting "illegal permissions" to liquor companies in the state. This is the fourth case filed against the TDP Chief by the CID.

As per the reports, CID formally filed a petition in the Anti-Corruption Bureau court, and the court has granted permission to proceed on the case. Currently, Naidu is in judicial custody on the case linked to financial misappropriation involving the Skill Development Corporation.
