DeVANS starts beer production in UP
In its consistent efforts to expand its presence in the Indian beer market, DeVANS Modern Breweries has announced a new partnership with Vairagi Brewery in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, which aims to increase its production capacity by 24,000 KL, amounting to 2 million cases per year.
Previously, the manufacturer of iconic beer brands like Godfather, Six Fields and Kotsberg, DeVANS established production tie-ups in Arunachal Pradesh and Jharkhand to boost its production capacity to expand its market. DeVANS owns two breweries – one each in Rajasthan and Jammu.
Partnership with UP based brewery is the third production tie up for the company and discussions are under way in two more states to advance its beer production capacity further. DeVANS has also entered into a strategic tie up with Tropical Breweries Ltd in Tamil Nadu which would start producing the company’s brands by November this year.
Last year, DeVANS launched its maiden spirit expression GianChand single malt whisky and expected to launch a couple of new single malt brands by this year’s end.
