Diageo introduces Don Julio tequila in India

Diageo launched the iconic Don Julio tequila in the Indian market to revolutionise India’s luxury landscape.

This tequila’s legend began in 1942 when a young Don Julio Gonzalez started La Primavera, his first tequila distillery, in the Jaliscan Highlands of Mexico with its extreme climate and rich volcanic soil. Don Julio’s portfolio being introduced to India consists of Don Julio Blanco, Don Julio Reposado and Don Juilo Anejo, and the iconic luxury spirit Don Julio 1942.

On the occasion of Don Julio tequila launch in India, Chief Business Development Officer of Diageo India Shweta Jain commented “Tiera de Don Julio is not just the vibrant world of Tequila, it’s a love letter to Mexican culture. It has been the serve of choice for the luxury explorers around the world, and it gives us so much joy to bring it to India.”

Don Julio Blanco and Don Julio Reposado are already available in Haryana, Chandigarh, Maharashtra, Goa and Anejo and 1942 will be available from 18th December 2023 in Haryana, Maharashtra.
