During a review meeting regarding the track and trace system of the state excise department, he asked concerned officers to adopt a stringent track and trace system in liquor, in Haryana. In the meeting attended by senior officers, Haryana’s Deputy CM instructed to enhance barcode scanning at every stage, ensure zero tolerance for revenue theft, and use flow meter vigilance for strict monitoring to prevent discrepancies. He also emphasised to expedite the recovery of outstanding arrears in liquor revenues and to take feedback from on track and trace and other new technologies from the districts across the state.
