Liquor set to cost more in TN

State run Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation (TASMAC) has announced a hike on all categories of liquor with effect from 1st February 2024. TASMAC is mandated to sell liquor in Tamil Nadu.

New hike on retail liquor price in Tamil Nadu will be ranging from Rs 10 to Rs 80 under different categories. As per the release, the price of 180 ml of lower and mid-range liquor will be increased by Rs 10, the price of 180 ml premium liquor will go up by Rs 20. The price of beer sold in 650ml containers will increase by Rs 10 in Tamil Nadu.

Additionally, the release added that the prices of liquor sold in 375 ml, 750 ml, and 1,000 ml containers, and beers sold in 325 ml and 500 ml containers will also increase in Tamil Nadu as per their quantity and category.
