Pernod Ricard India's sales surge by four percent By Spiritz Desk 19 Feb 2024 in Latest News New Update Pernod Ricard has announced a growth of 4 percent in the sales of spirits in India, during the first half of the ongoing fiscal. In the first half of the financial year 2023-24, India contributed 11 percent to Pernod Ricard’s overall global sales, making it the second largest contributor after the US to Pernod Ricard’s sales during the given period. The company’s financial year runs from July to June and the company has seen strong market demand for its spirits in India. It added that its global brands, Jameson, Absolut, and The Glenlivet are experiencing very strong growth in the Indian market this season. Additionally, Pernod Ricard said Seagram’s India whisky division, which includes IMFL brands such as Blender’s Pride, Imperial Blue, and Royal Stag, saw sales growth of more than 4 percent during the first half of 2023-24.
