The new brand identity will be introduced across the company’s travel retail business in seven airports including those in Mumbai, Thiruvananthapurama and Jaipur. Mumbai Travel Retail’s operations also extends to stores in Amritsar, Lucknow, Ahmedabad and Mangalore airports. The new branding was introduced at a special event on 19th March, ahead of the APTRA India Conference in New Delhi. The new identity reflects the company’s resolve to adopt “a contemporary approach to redefine the shopping experience at duty free”. The new brand name is inspired by the osprey bird or sea hawk which flies across continents with grace and precision. As we plan to expand our global footprint, it is imperative to integrate all our duty-free stores under one unified brand identity that resonates with our values and aspirations.” In the recent past, the appointment of MTRPL’s subsidiary Le Marché Duty-Free by Eurotunnel to manage the duty-free business at Eurotunnel’s French terminal in Coquelles, near Calais further endorses on the global vision of Mumbai Travel Retail. The unveiling of the new branding included addresses from Harshad Jain, CEO- Non Aero at Adani Airport Holdings Ltd. and by Avishek Bambii Das.
