Kentucky-based Bardstown Bourbon Company has entered into a partnership with Copper & Kings to develop a whiskey, which is finished in Destillaré Orange Curaçao barrels. It is named Destillaré Orange Curaçao Finish Bourbon.
The whiskey is made using nine-year-old Tennessee Bourbon, which was finished for 18 months in Destillaré Orange Curaçao barrels from Louisville based distillery Copper & Kings.
The newly released whiskey is bottled at 50 percent ABV and has recommended retail price of 124.99 USD per 750ml bottle. The whiskey happens to be the latest release in the distillery’s Collaborative Series, which comprises a line of Bourbons finished in an array of wine, beer and spirits barrels. It is the sixth collaboration of Bardstown Bourbon Company with fellow Kentucky distillery Copper & Kings.
