Jura winter edition arrives

Jura has come up with a Sherry cask-finished whisky, which happens to be the second expression in its Cask Editions series. It is named Jura Winter Edition.  The first expression of Jura’s Cask Editions range is Jura Red Wine Cask, which was launched earlier this year.

Each of the whiskies in the Cask Editions series celebrates the role of different cask finishes during the maturation process.

Jura Winter Edition is endowed with 40 percent ABV. The liquid is initially matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels and finished in hand selected aged Spanish Sherry casks. The newly introduced whisky is characterised by notes of sweetness from sticky maple syrup, spicy mulled wine and freshly brewed coffee. The finish exudes whipped vanilla  and cinnamon spice.

Jura Winter Edition comes in one litre and 700ml formats.
