Rebel Yell Bourbon finished in Cognac casks

A limited edition Cognac cask-finished Rebel Yell Bourbon has been unveiled by Lux Row Distillers, which is based in Kentucky, the US. The newly introduced liquid is named Rebel Yell Cognac Cask Finish.

The expression is the product of finishing Rebel Yell Kentucky Straight Bourbon in Cognac casks for six months.

The beverage is endowed with 45 percent ABV and it exudes an aroma of oak and dark berries, along with notes of caramel, toasted sugar and raisins on the palate.

Rebel Yell Cognac Cask Finish will be flowed in to only 6000 bottles over the next 12 months, and the beverage will be available for purchase in the UK from October of this year, at 44USD per 700ml bottle.

It will be only the second Bourbon not to be released in the US. The product will initially be launched in the UK through Cellar Trends, which would be followed by its presence in Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, France and Switzerland.
