Chancellor Rishi Sunak has announced that duty on wine, spirits, beer and cider will be frozen for the second year in a row during the UK budget 2021 announcement.

Additionally, under the UK’s new budget, he has approved grants of up to 25,118 USD for a single hospitality business. This is in addition to the recently announced 6.98billion USD scheme for hospitality firms and retailers in England to help them re-open after lockdown. The move replaces the current monthly grant scheme.

Previously, he announced 208million USD to help communities take over local pubs which are in danger of closing.
