LVMH, which owns Hennessy, has joined hands with Google to apply cloud-based artificial intelligence (AI) technology to strengthen its operations. Under this partnership, AI and machine learning technologies will be provided by Google Cloud ‘to assist human talent’ across LVMH’s brands, which include Belvedere vodka and Scotch whiskies Glenmorangie and Ardbeg.

The digital tools will be applied to forecast demand and optimise inventory, develop new products, communicate with employees, improve IT infrastructure and other activities. This collaboration will also enable LVMH to develop new personalised experiences for its customers. The two companies will also come with a ‘data and AI academy’ in Paris.
