The production of Jawan Rum resumed

Travancore Sugars and Chemicals, a Kerala Government’s public sector undertaking, has restarted the production of the liquor brand Jawan Rum. This brand of rum is quite popular in South India, especially in Kerala.  

Recently the production of this rum was suspended when three executives of the company were found to be involved in the scam of selling extra-neutral alcohol illegally. Kerala State Beverages Corporation (KSBC)’s Managing Director Yogesh Gupta informed that following the appointment of the new General Manager and chemist, production of Jawan Rum was resumed.
