Platinum 7X Vodka from the Sazerac Company was recently awarded a Gold medal at the 2021 International Wine and Spirits Competition.

Each of the entries at the competition was subject to a series of blind tastings and individual evaluation on taste by a mixed judging panel of world-renowned experts from a diverse range of sectors, drawn from over 30 countries.

Platinum 7X is distilled seven times from high-quality American grain. Careful attention is paid throughout the distillation process to ensure the highest quality product is crafted. 100 percent pure water is then used to finish the vodka and bring it to 80 proof.

Tasting notes from this competition describe Platinum 7X as “A soft and clean vodka, with hints of vanilla and dry grassy flavours, with amazing complexity and weight to the palate.” The tasting notes also describe the drink having “Textured finish with a beautiful touch of sweetness.”

A total of four Sazerac vodkas were awarded medals at the competition out of 4,000 entries from across 86 countries. Frïs Vodka and Tenure England Vodka won Silver medals, whereas Platinum 10X Vodka won Bronze medal.
