New brewery for B9 Beverages coming up in MP

B9 Beverages Pvt. Ltd., which owns the craft-beer brand Bira 91, will come up with its fifth local brewery before the end of 2021, before a planned initial public offering. The to be deveoped brewery will be located in Madhya Pradesh, which will be the second brewery of B9 Beverages in the state.

B9 has tapped investors for about 50 million USD till now this year. B9 Beverages Pvt. Ltd is backed by Sequoia Capital and Japanese beverage firm Kirin Holdings Co. According to Ankur Jain, CEO, B9 Beverages Pvt. Ltd., the company is preparing for its last and largest round of private fund raising, which is set to conclude in 2021.
