Diageo India has announced an addition to its Black Dog Scotch whisky brand --Black Dog Millard’s Private Reserve 14-year-old--as a tribute to Black Dog’s Founder, Sir Walter Millard. The Black Dog Millard’s Private Reserve 14YO is a new addition to the world of Black Dog and was exclusively unveiled by the Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan.

Knowing when to pause is an art and. Black Dog’s Founder Sir Walter Millard mastered this art of pausing through his passion for fly fishing, resulting in the creation of what we know as Black Dog Scotch Whisky, a liquid matured in its fullness of time.

On the nose, the whisky exudes rich sweet-soft matured wood, malty, fruity and creamy notes. Mild at first; rich and dense, with traces of spice and sweet wood from extra oak aging.

The taste of Black Dog Millard’s Private Reserve 14YO reflects smooth with lightly toasty oak, which becomes more mellow if water is added. It is well balanced, with the peppery spice leaving a spicy tingle and creamy, violet scented with medium to long finish.
