Bihar’s de-addiction campaign takes teachers’ help

An official statement has been issued by the Bihar government where it has urged the primary and secondary school teachers, principals and other staff in Bihar to confidentially inform about people consuming or supplying liquor in the school premises, within Bihar.

The numbers to contact the Bihar government in this regard have been provided in the circular. The numbers are 9473400378 and 9473400606. The state also provided a toll free number- 18003456268/15545. This initiative is a part of the liquor de-addiction campaign in Bihar.

The official statement said that it had come to the notice of the state authorities that some people were engaged in liquor consumption and supply within some school premises. Bihar has been experiencing alcohol prohibition since 1st April 2016.
