After the boycott of Russian vodka in the US and Canada, a host of UK bars and hospitality firms have stopped the sale of Russian vodka because of Russia’s continuing invasion of Ukraine.

Germany’s outrage at the invasion of Ukraine is growing as supermarkets in Germany banished Russian vodka from their shelves and the entire office staff of the former Chancellor Gerhard Schröder did quit in protest at his refusal to step down from a position in the Russian energy industry.

An array of retailers in Germany said they would stop selling all Russian-made products, including confectionery, ready meals and spirits including vodka.
