Ronin Wines raises 2 million USD

Ronin Wines, the maker of the mead brand named Moonshine, has raised 2 million USD as part of their Pre Series A, with the objective to give a further impetus to its growth trajectory in India and beyond.

This financing round was led by Anthill Capital. Participation from Auxano Capital, Supermorpheus and Merisis, as well as existing and new angel investors was also there in this funding. Value Bridge Capital was the sole advisor for this transaction.

With the inflow of this capital, Ronin Wines aims to deepen its brand Moonshine’s presence in the markets where it has presence at present, which are Maharashtra, Karnataka, Goa, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Assam and Silvassa, to enter new Indian markets like Haryana and West Bengal, and to explore export markets.

Ronin Wines endeavours to establish Moonshine as a national brand over the next three years.
