UP to get its first vintnery

First first ever vintnery in North India is to be  set up in Uttar Pradesh.  KD Solution Pvt. Ltd. has been granted permission to set up a vintnery with annual capacity of 54,446 litres in the Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh

 Sanjay R. Bhoosreddy, Additional Chief Secretary, Uttar Pradesh has informed that there was ample opportunity for vintnery industry in the state of UP as  about 26 percent of the total fruit production in the country came from Uttar Pradesh.

With the establishment of this vintner, the fruits grown in this region will be better utilized and farmers will get fair price for their fruits. With the grant to establish this vintnery by the UP government, approximately 30 people will get direct employment opportunity whereas approximately 150 people will get indirect employment opportunity.
