Assam drives home the point

Officials of the Assam government have been asked by the Assam government to ensure that bottles of liquor sold in Assam carry a label highlighting "No Drinking while Driving". This is targeted as an effective measure to sensitise alcoholic beverage consumers in Assam, the state which experienced an excise duty hike of 25 percent on Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) in May 2020, about the ill effects of drinking alcoholic beverages along with driving.
