Beers from DeVANS win honours
Beers manufactured by DeVANS have recently been honoured with international recognition. Its Kotsberg Pils, the light lager, has won the coveted Gold medal in the lager ice category at the Brussels Beer Challenge, 2022, while Six Fields Cult, the Belgian style strong wheat beer from DeVANS, has won Silver medal in the DubbleWit category at the same competition.
Sharing the stage with established breweries from countries like Belgium, Italy, the US, France, Brazil, Germany, Japan, China – Jammu’s family-run brewery wowed judges with its entries- Kotsberg Pils & Six Fields Cult. The fact that Indian brands outshone other international brands at this prestigious competition in Belgium, where beer brewing has been practiced since 3AD, is a matter of great pride. Other beers that were honoured with awards at this year’s edition of the competition included Grimbergen (Carlsberg Breweries), Hoegarden (AB-Inbev), Bavaria Pilsner (Swinkels Family Brewers), Duvel (Duvel Moortgat).
DeVANS is also the manufacturer of Godfather Legendary, the most awarded Indian beer which has bagged Gold awards regularly in various blind tasting events in India.
