Rapid growth of Sting

PepsiCo India's energy drink Sting has surpassed all the company's other old brands, including Pepsi-Cola and Mountain Dew, in terms of growth. It is the fastest growing brand of PepsiCo India now.

According to a senior official of PepsiCo India, Sting's growth trajectory is steeper and stronger in comparison to other soft drink brands being launched in India in India's soft drink industry, over the past three decades.

Many analysts are of the view that in contrast to aerated soft drinks, the sales of energy drinks are not restricted to seasonal peaks. For instance, Sting's contribution during the December 2022 quarter was greater than its annual revenue.
