Andhra to give livelihood option to support ID liquor brewers

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has instructed the officials to concentrate on providing alternative livelihood possibilities to those engaged in the production of illicitly distilled (ID) alcohol in Andhra Pradesh.

Reddy emphasised the importance of raising awareness about the negative impacts of producing, distributing, and drinking ID liquor. He added that it was equally important to give ID spirits producers’ alternate means of support.
