Greg Hughes to become Beam Suntory’s CEO

Greg Hughes will take over as President and CEO of Beam Suntory, succeeding Albert Baladi later this year.

Since 2019, Baladi has served as president and CEO. On October 1, 2023, he will cede those duties to Hughes, but he will stay on as CEO advisor through the end of the year. Through 2024, he will continue to serve as the company's senior advisor. He has spent 12 years as a member of the organization's executive leadership team.

Hughes is presently the senior vice president, Chief Growth and Brands Officer at Beam Suntory. He has worked in the consumer goods industry for more than 30 years in marketing, sales, and management positions.

In 2015, Hughes began working at Beam Suntory as President of North America. He held the position for four years before being promoted to General Manager of North America.
