Among alcoholic beverages, vodka's sales showed the highest growth in India in 2022 as compared to 2021; it showed a growth of close to 34 percent, according to the study by IWSR.

According to the study, India is the world's fifth-largest market for alcoholic beverages (totalling around $53billion), and consumption at home is expected to drive volumes over the next five years. Among the products covered in the study, IWSR states that ready-to-drink beverages were the fastest-growing segment in India, in 2022, showing a 40 percent surge in the last year.
